I first met Kelly Exeter at the end of 2019 when we were both nominated to join the Board at Perth Basketball Association (‘Perth Redbacks’) – the basketball club two of my kids and Kelly’s two kids play for. I stepped into the role of Treasurer and Kelly was the club’s new Communications Director.
It didn’t take long before I knew that Kelly was going to significantly impact the basketball club in that role. It opened my eyes to her skills and how she could really help our business too.
So, I took every opportunity last year to convince Kelly to come work for us.
And happily, it didn’t take too much convincing.
As she notes in her profile, she’s always been ‘weirdly passionate’ about the value of great financial advice. The experience of losing her husband Anthony two years ago saw her become an unapologetic advocate.
Kel started with us in early February and has been busy since then:
- Re-designing and re-building our whole website (take a look here)
- Designing a new Firm Overview Brochure to help our advisors and clients better communicate what we do
- Taking care of several small writing jobs that have been sitting idle on our desks for months.
So, what else can you expect to see from us now that Kelly’s onboard?
Well, we are determined to reach more people so we can help more people. We know the impact great financial advice and life planning has on people’s wellbeing and lives. Having Kelly on the team will help us spread the word.
We hope you will join me and the rest of our team in welcoming Kelly on board. We can’t wait to see the ways she helps us serve you better over the coming months and years.
